Description

In the heart of the Haute-Savoie and the Chablais massif, I offer you the chance to climb one or more via ferrata around the village of Bellevaux.

Here are the possible routes and combinations:

Cascade des Nants via ferrata (Fairly Difficult) - 35€:
This itinerary that goes up the walls of the Bellevaux waterfall (also called the Nants canyon) offers you a via ferrata ideal to initiate yourself to the activity with your family or with children. Beams, footbridges, a cable bridge and a Nepalese bridge mark out this route. The environment is very wild and you overhang potholes and waterfalls. The final part of the via offers a superb view of Bellevaux and a beautiful canyon atmosphere.
Approach walk: 20 minutes, return walk: about 35 minutes.

Châtelard via ferrata (Difficult) - 45€:
This route is ideal for those who want to improve and try more physically demanding via ferrata. You have to cross a beam, a Nepalese bridge, a cable bridge and some athletic passages. After a first part straight in the rock, you make an ascending crossing to the right. The view on the Bellevaux valley is magnificent and a 70 meters long zip-line (not mandatory) brings you back to the foot of the forest.
Approach and return walk: about 30 minutes.

Grotte de Cristal via ferrata (Very Difficult) - 45€:
This route is much more athletic and playful than its neighbor "Le Châtelard". You learn to pace your movements and find the best positions to save yourself in the overhanging passages and enjoy the atmosphere.
There is a multitude of workshops (4 beams) and always the optional final zip line of 70 meters long which overhangs the torrent of Nants of approximately 30 to 40 meters.
Approach and return walk: about 30 minutes.

Combination via ferrata of the Cascade des Nants + other via ferrata "of your choice" - 60€:
For a full day, as much for your arms as for your emotions, I propose to take you on two very distinct routes.

Reservations are limited to groups of at least 6 people.

If you're in the mood for more vertical adventures in the area, don't miss the beautiful Mont via ferrata in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval or the Fort l’Écluse via ferrata in Ain department. You can also experience the thrill of a dinner and overnight stay in a cliff above Bourget lake in Savoie.

Program

We meet in the village of Bellevaux, about 30 minutes drive from Thonon-les-Bains and 45 minutes from Morzine.
Approach walk: 20 to 30 minutes depending on the chosen itinerary.
From 2 to 3 hours of activity to go through the difficulties or to escape if necessary.
Return walk: about 40 minutes.

The price includes

Supervision by the climbing instructor (the guide is paid for his expertise and not for the systematic achievement of an objective).
Loan of high quality collective equipment (helmet, harness and via ferrata lanyard with energy absorber).
Departure confirmed for a group of 6 people minimum or at the engagement (the expenses of service are distributed between the participants, whatever their number).

The price does not include

Transport to and from the village of Bellevaux.
Snacks.
Drinks.
