Ski touring and bivouac in tepee (Haute-Savoie)

Description

I propose you to leave for two days of winter immersion in Haute-Savoie, far from the classic itineraries!

Near Annecy and Thônes, in the Aravis or Bornes mountains, you will live an unusual and original ski touring experience. Indeed, the night under a tepee will bring another dimension to this adventure. We will also try to find the best snow to make the descents enjoyable.

If you want to live another original night experience, I propose full moon ski touring in the Aravis mountains. But also two days outings with more classic lodging for ski touring in the Chablais, the Aravis or the Belledonne massif.

Program

D1: Ski touring and night in a tepee.
Meeting point in Thônes, half an hour drive from Annecy.
In the morning, we will ski to the bivouac place where we will drop the loads before exploring the area.
In the afternoon, return and installation of the camp and the tepee in which we will spend the night.

D2: Ski tour from the camp and uninstallation of the tepee.
In the morning we leave the camp for a beautiful ski touring outing, with a positive difference in altitude between 600 and 1000 meters.
We return to the camp in the afternoon to uninstall the teepee and get back to the vehicles.

The price includes

• Supervision and organization by the mountain guide.
• Lodging in expedition tepee for 6 to 8 people. Insulating mattresses are provided.

• Transport to Thônes.
• Transport to the start of the hike (carpooling possible).
• Picnics.
• Drinks.
• Ski touring equipment (rental possible).
• Insurance specific to the activity.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
