Program

D1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel.

D2: Kathmandu - Nayapul - Birethanti (1050m).
Bus transfer to Nayapul, followed by a 30-minute walk to Birethanti. Check-in at the lodge.

D3: Birethanti - Ulleri (1600m).
Today the trail climbs gently towards Tikhe Dhunga, crossing a suspension bridge before the village. It's more of a climb than a hike, with over 3,000 steps up a steep stone staircase to the village of Ulleri.
Overnight in a lodge. 4 to 5 hours' walking.

D4: Ulleri - Ghorepani (2750m).
You have a pleasant day's walk through rhododendrons (Nepal's national flower) and oak forests. You enjoy beautiful views of Machapuchare, Hiun Chuli and South Annapurna. After lunch, the trail climbs steadily until we reach Ghorepani, a village of the Magar people. The mountains are visible from our accommodation.
Overnight in a lodge. 4 to 5 hours' walking.

D5: Ghorepani - Poon Hill (3210m) - Tadapani (2630m) - Ghandruk (1900m).
Early in the morning, a 45-minute walk through rhododendron forests to Poon Hill offers spectacular sunrise views of mountains such as Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Baraha Shikhar, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machapuchare, Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal. Then a 2-hour descent through a forest inhabited by Langur monkeys leads to the Gurung village of Ghandruk, with its beautiful dry-stone houses.
Overnight in a lodge. Approximately 7 hours' walking.

D6: Ghandrunk - Landruk (1565m) - Forest Camp (2600m).
Descend to cross the Modi Khola river at Kyumni (1300m), then, on the opposite bank, the path climbs steeply to reach Landruk, another beautiful Gurung village. The view of South Annapurna and Hiunchuli is superb. We leave the classic trail and walk through rhododendron forests towards Mardi Himal base camp.
Overnight in a lodge. 5 to 6 hours' walking.

D7: Forest Camp - Low Camp (2900m) - High Camp (3900m).
We continue through rhododendron forest to low camp, then reach the Nangge Danda ridge with extraordinary views of Annapurna, Machapuchare and Manaslu.
Overnight in a lodge. Approximately 5 hours' walking.

D8: High Camp - View Point (4450m) - High Camp (3900m).
Early in the morning, after breakfast, a climb of around 3 hours takes us to the Mardi Himal base camp. The walk takes place in a high mountain atmosphere, with splendid views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Mardi Himal and Machapuchare.
Overnight in a lodge. Approximately 5 hours' walking.

D9: High Camp - Low Camp - Sidhing (1700m).
A beautiful descent, first along the ridge, then back into the rhododendron forest, in bloom in late March and early April.
Overnight in a lodge. Approximately 7 hours' walking.

D10: Sidhing - Lwang (1460m).
A beautiful descent takes us to Lwang, a beautiful Gurung village in the heart of the Nepalese hills. It's a wonderful opportunity to discover the village life dotted around the many rice terraces. In the distance, we can still see the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna.
Overnight in a lodge. Approximately 6 hours' walking.

D11: Lwang - Pokhara.
Our vehicle takes us to Pokhara (about 2-hour drive).
Overnight in a hotel.
