Mini multi pitch route climbing in Chamonix

Description

I would like to offer you a half-day of multi pitch route climbing dedicated to your desires, on the famous and historic cliff of Les Gaillands in Chamonix.

If you are a beginner, or if you have climbed before but want to get even higher, this will be the perfect activity for you!

After being roped up together, you will be guided to the top of the Gaillands cliff (70 meters high). The descent can be made via a serie of ladders, or by abseiling for the bravest!

The "mini" multi pitch route  formula allows you to come alone or as a duo - the choice is yours! It is also up to you to suggest a date that suits you.

Price: 200€ for the half-day activity, for one or two people.

Here are a few examples of routes we could climb together:

• La Braco: one of the easiest routes on the Grand Gailland cliff, with a maximum grade of 4c. This route is perfect for a first experience of easy multi pitch climbing.
• Les rings argentés and Le dièdre gris: a classic of the Gaillands cliff, this 5a max route takes you to the top of the cliff, 70 meters above the ground. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a unique view of the high peaks of the nearby Mont-Blanc massif, including the Aiguille du Midi, Mont Blanc du Tacul and the Aiguille du Plan.
• Le petit surplomb: a little more athletic and difficult, this 3-pitch route (5b, 5a, 6a) is magnificent.
• L'arête intégrale: with a very easy first pitch, this is a vertiginous and very pretty climb in 5c then 6a that awaits you.

Program

• The meeting point is at the Gaillands parking lot in the center of Chamonix at 8.30am or 1pm, depending on the time agreed together.
• The session lasts 3 hours.
• Please bring a small backpack with some water, snacks and sun cream.

The price includes

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of safety equipment necessary for the practive of the activity (harness, helmet, rope, shoes if available in your size, quickdraws, belay device, etc.).

The price does not include

• Transport to and from Chamonix.
• Rental of climbing shoes (if not available on loan and if you don't have some).
• Snacks.
• Drinks.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
