Infos & BookingDescription
We've entered the new climate era. It's now too late to reverse the process, and the climate is on the move, in a state of flux, with dry winters or snowstorms, the snow line rising all the time, and so on. We're experiencing too much of everything: droughts, floods, windstorms... So we're on the brink of a profound upheaval for all mankind, and no one knows exactly what impact it will have. Only one thing is certain: the more we can limit the amplitude of the phenomenon, the better we'll be able to find the time to adapt. And that's where all the hope lies right now: in the race for degrees to leave the earth livable!
In other words, and in the light of this observation, we have to ask ourselves the question: how can I continue to live my passion for mountaineering and the mountains, while at the same time being a player in this battle, rather than a powerless victim?
This is precisely the approach that these eco-responsible mountaineering outings are designed to take. To create an alternative to what we used to do, in the old days, when glaciers didn't melt, mountains didn't collapse, refuges weren't swept away by torrential floods, rimayes remained passable until the end of August...
These outings in the Bauges, Bornes and Aravis massifs take a low-carbon approach - by public transport, by EAMTB (electrically assisted mountain bike), on foot, by hitchhiking, by electric car - and minimize distance, for a return to less rugged, lower relief. This return to theessence of mountaineering is more about adventure than doing.
As the seasons go by, you'll be able to enjoy climbs that are not as high, but just as intense, beautiful and rich in emotion, sharing, discovery and learning!
