Infos & BookingDescription
I propose you to come and experience a vertical adventure on the Roc du Gorb via ferrata in Bor-et-Bar, Aveyron.
A via ferrata can be defined as a vertiginous hike with some easy climbing (sometimes perched over 50 meters high!). It offers exceptional views on the neighbouring environment and it is a great way of climbing, abseiling, zip-lining... and discovering the flora and fauna that surround us.
Located in the Viaur valley, the Roc du Gorb via ferrata is largely exposed to the sun, making it very pleasant during spring and autumn, or at the end of the summer days. It is also located right next to the lovely Viaur river, an ideal place to round off your day with a picnic, an after-sport swim and/or a short hike.
The route has been designed to be accessible to beginners and offers wide-open spaces and a even more sporting variant. Nature-adventure enthusiasts are also welcome ;-)
The minimum age required is 12 (or 7 if you are an "experienced" climber or already pratice tree climbing).
Set in lush greenery, the Roc du Gorb via ferrata features monkey bridges over a waterfall, a footbridge, a beautiful 100-meter-long zip-line (accessible via a beam that will give you a few thrills)... It is also possible to enjoy a 25-meter abseil from a promontory offering a superb view on the Viaur valley.
If you fancy another similar route, you can follow me to the Roc d'Anglars via ferrata in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val in the Tarn-et-Garonne region (also available as a discovery version for via ferrata beginners). It is also possible to round off the day with an introduction to rock climbing on the beautiful Roc du Gorb cliff or a little further afield around Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val.
