Description

Have you always dreamed of climbing on rock? Do your friends keep telling you that the cliffs are great and very different from the gym, but you haven't tried it yet?

I offer introductory outdoor climbing sessions on cliffs around Grenoble, for all levels and for everyone.

Whether you've never climbed before and want to give it a try, or you're looking to discover climbing and cliff techniques (setting up equipment, rope handling at the top of a route, etc.), this climbing session will meet your expectations.

The Grenoble area is rich in "school crags", which means we can adapt to everyone's level and expectations.
We will have a choice of the following sites to practice on:

  • Petit Désert: located in the Vouillants woods above Seyssinet, this limestone cliff offers routes of every height, difficulty and climbing style.
  • Col du Coq: at the foot of the Dent de Crolles, this site in the Chartreuse massif offers a fine view over the Grésivaudan valley and the Belledonne range. The routes are generally fairly easy, not steep and with good holds, making them ideal for first-time climbers.
  • Les Brieux: well shaded for hot days, this cliff in the city of Saint-Égrève is perfect for beginners, with very affordable routes of reasonable height and well-stocked with holds.
  • Les Allières: above Lans-en-Vercors, this small, high-altitude cliff offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Vercors plateau. Even if the routes are fairly vertical, all levels are present and you can try out different climbing styles.

If this session whets your appetite for more vertical adventures, you can also follow me on:
