Multipitch climbing in the Verdon gorges

Join me for an unforgettable adventure on the cliffs of the Verdon gorges and plunge into a unique adventure by climbing its majestic and spectacular walls!

On the border of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Var départements, all styles of climbing are on offer: cracks, slabs, overhangs, water drops... something to delight every climber. Around the pretty village of La Palud-sur-Verdon and as far as the Lac de Sainte-Croix, numerous renowned crags and sectors are within easy reach: Imbut, Escalès, Félines, Styx, Malines, Galetas, Eycharme, Mainmorte, Maugué, paroi du Duc, etc. It's here that we will climb a superb multi pitch route that we will choose together. You will love it!

If you feel like coming back a little longer to enjoy this magnificent place, I recommend this weekend of climbing and yoga in the Gorges du Verdon.

Program

• Meeting at the rendezvous point and briefing:
  To begin the adventure, we will meet at the designated GPS point where we can share a coffee (either at a local café or from a thermos I will bring) and review the day’s plan, the equipment, and the safety details. Depending on the route, we will continue either on foot or I will drive us to the trailhead.
• Equipment Check:
  Before heading out, we will do a quick check of your personal gear: climbing shoes, harness, helmet, PAS, etc. Don’t worry if you are missing anything, I can provide all necessary equipment. We will review the contents of everyone's backpack to ensure that the essentials are there (water bottle, some snacks, and a few extra layers) and that the heavy non-essentials stay in the car.
• Climbing preparation and safety check:
  Once we arrive at the cliff, we will agree on communication signals and review the necessary rope techniques, including the anchor setup and rappel procedures. 
• On the route:
  We will climb at a comfortable pace, taking time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery around us. At each belay, we will rest, chat, and get ready for the next section. Reaching the top or the end of the route will be an unforgettable moment, with stunning views of the Gorges du Verdon.
• Return to the car:
  After the climb, we will head back to the car, where we will take time to sort the gear. We will finish with a quick debrief of the day: discussing the experience, reviewing learned techniques, and sharing the highlights of the day.
