Half-day intro to single pitch climbing around Digne

Description

I would like to offer you a half-day introduction to rock climbing on one of the cliffs around Digne-les-Bains in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region of France.

During this introduction to climbing, you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn and practice the essential knots for rock climbing.
• Learn belaying skills (rope handling) with brake assist devices.
• Understand universal climbing terms and proper communication.
• No experience is necessary

No experience necessary to participate!

This course is open to children aged 5 and over with parental supervision.

The outing is confirmed from 4 participants. But if you are a group of less than 4 people, a private outing is possible at the price of 4 people.

If you have more time, I recommend this one-day introduction to rock climbing around Digne-les-Bains.  And if you want to progress and enjoy yourself, you can follow me for a weekend of yoga and climbing for all levels around La Palud-sur-Verdon, or even discover the Verdon gorges with some multi pitch climbing.

Program

• Rendez-vous at the parking lot of one of the cliffs around Digne-les-Bains. 
  The exact spot will be defined before the session by telephone, taking into account your ulterior experience and your location.
• The activity lasts 3 hours.
• You can choose either in the morning from 9am to 12pm or in the afternoon from 2pm to 5pm.

The price includes

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• All gear necessary to climb in security can be provided (climbing shoes, harness, helmet, quickdraws, rope, etc.).

The price does not include

• Transport to and from the rendez-vous point.
• Snacks.
• Drinks.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
