Description
Words fail to describe the sandstones of Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Unique, delirious, magical, mad... It's all there, but nothing quite does justice to these fantastic landscapes. To understand it, you have to go there. Better still, you have to get lost.
And then there's the welcome of the Bedouins, the chant of the muezzin echoing through the canyons, the passing caravans of dromedaries, the Toyotas drifting through the desert...
And then this crazy multi pitch climbing... In short, I am a fan! And I am coming back, again and again, just to come back with sand in my shoes, a smell of desert stuck in my nostrils and our fingers pink from having climbed so many pitches.
Of course, we can't do everything! We'll be covering the classics, of course, but also some surprises, new routes, detours, Bedouin routes... But I won't tell you too much, just in case the adventure takes you by surprise at the turn of a canyon.
In short, I offer you a fabulous climbing trip in Jordan, a must-do in any climber's life!

Program
The program is given as an indication, and the choice of the routes will depend on the day's desires, the level and the mood of the 4WD vehicle driver!
D1: Travel to Jordan.
Flight to Amman or Aqaba, then cab transfer to the village of Raam.
D2: First day of climbing.
Climbing from the village, on the east face of Jebel Rum for example (Goldfinger or Inferno) or in the Rakabat canyon (the aperitif then the Bedouin traverse through Khazareh canyon).
D3: Ascent of The Beauty route.
Today you'll be climbing one of the Ejil's classic cracks.
D4 and D5: Climbing in Barah canyon.
Base camp at Barah canyon for 2 days, with comfortable bivouac.
Climb Merlin's Wand, a must, or Shame on you. Or even the incredible Star of Abujudaïda, depending on the level of the participants.
After these two magnificent days, transfer to Kazalhi camp, a haven of peace and beauty at the foot of the rock faces.
D6 -: Bedouin route on Khazali or multi pitch climbing on the north face.
Second night in Khazali.
D7: Climbing on Jebel Rum.
Transfer by 4WD vehicle to Wadi Rum and route on the eastern foothills of Jebel Rum (Rum Doodle, Pillar of Wisdom, Black Magic, etc.).
D8: Taxi transfer to Amman or Aqaba and return flight.
If you wish, you can also continue your stay and, for example, visit the fabulous site of Petra for 2 days.
It is also possible to extend the climb: dates and quotation on request.
The price includes
- Supervision by the mountain guide for the duration of the trip.
- Organizational costs.
- Loan of collective equipment (ropes, quickdraws, adventure terrain gear).
- Local transport (cab to Wadi Rum, 4WD vehicle in the desert).
- Half-board on site (breakfast and evening meal with Bedouins).
- Collective pharmacy.

- Plane ticket Europe - Amman or Aqaba.
- Visa fees.
- Personal climbing equipment.

Accommodation
- In Wadi Rum: in tent with mattress, or room with mattress. Shower, WC, electricity, wifi.
- Barrah canyon: bivouac and night under the stars. Comfortable mattress.
- In Kazalhi: bedouin tent, mattress, water, toilet.
