Malamort via ferrata (Tarn)

Description

I invite you to experience the thrills of the Sor gorges, above Durfort, a small artisan village in the Montagne Noire.

In the heart of the Tarn region, this route, which is accessible to beginners and children aged 7 and over, is ideal for discovering via ferrata and enjoying magnificent views.

After a ten-minute approach walk in the woods, it's time to tackle the equipped course in the cliff.

Two fully equipped routes, one easy and one more challenging, cross and re-cross the walls overlooking the Gouffre de Malamort, in a peaceful forest setting where the tumultuous waters of the Sor flow by. Footbridges, monkey bridges, large zip lines and a few small walls and vertiginous crossings: everything you need to make this Malamort via ferrata a fun, accessible and enjoyable itinerary.

After a well-deserved waterside break, it's time to take an easy walk back to the parking lot.

Program

• Meet at the parking lot of the Malamort via ferrata, about an hour's drive from Toulouse and 5 minutes from Revel.
• Equipment distribution and briefing.
• 10-minute walk to the start of the via.
• Approx. 2 hours on the via ferrata.
• 10-minute return walk to the parking lot.
• Total time approx. 2 hours and a half.

The price includes

• Supervision by climbing instructor.
• Loan of safety equipment adapted to the activity: harness, helmet, via ferrata lanyard with energy absorber, rope, pulley, etc.
• Individual insurance.

The price does not include

• Transport to and from the via ferrata parking lot.
• Snacks.
• All drinks.
