Infos & BookingDescription
The "Yves Pollet-Villard" via ferrata is located in the Aravis massif, near La Clusaz in Haute-Savoie. It's an emblematic route in the French Alps, prized for its thrills and breathtaking scenery.
The route begins with a relatively straightforward pedestrian approach before entering the first part of the via ferrata, which is very accessible, with many passages featuring natural holds. But the verticality soon becomes more pronounced and the passages more technical and impressive. Numerous cliffside traverses, vertical rungs, overhangs and a long, adrenalin-pumping monkey bridge await you. The climbing becomes more physical in the upper section, with some athletic sections and overhanging passages requiring arm strength and good climbing techniques. The climbing becomes more physical, especially in the upper section.
The climb ends on a rocky ridge offering spectacular views of the Aravis chain and the La Clusaz valley.
