Infos & BookingDescription
I invite you to embark on an exceptional journey to the Manaslu circuit trek starting from Barpak. This longer version of the Manaslu tour is a perfect opportunity for those seeking diverse landscape and cultural experiences.
The trek starts from Barpak, a large Gurung and Ghale community village that offers a view of Boudha Himal in the backdrop. It was also the epicenter of the devastating 2015 earthquake. The trek then passes from dense Gurung villages like Laprak, Gumda, Yamagaun, and Lapsibot where you can experience and explore the local lifestyle of the villagers but also panoramic views of mountain ranges like Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal and Boudhha Himal. After crossing beautiful terraced farmlands, forests, waterfalls, etc., the trek then follows the Budhi Gandaki river to the alpine highlands passing through quaint villages, farmlands, suspensed bridges, etc. Finally, the trek makes its way to the Annapurna region through the challenging Larke Pass (5106m) from where the view is breathtaking and rewarding the difficulty endured during the climb. In those high places, one can observe the practice of Tibetan Buddhism with monasteries, mani walls, chortens, and prayer flags along the trails and the villages.
This Manaslu tour trekking from Barpak lasts 18 days. But it can be customized as per your preferences, time frame, budget, and physical fitness. Just let me know and I will organize the best solution for you.
