Freetour skiing day in the Hautes-Alpes

Description

I am proposing a day out to discover freerando skiing, a combination of ski lifts and ascents with skins. The idea is to take advantage of a few chairlifts to gain quick access to the wide open spaces of the Hautes-Alpes mountains. From there, you will enjoy off-piste descents, far from the crowds, from which you can return to in just a few minutes. All you have to do is keep on going until your thighs give out!

Wide skis are welcome for this day in search of beautiful slopes and the perfect off-piste. The Hautes-Alpes are full of micro-resorts or big chairlift machines, depending on your wishes and the conditions at the time, which lend themselves well to this activity. A melezin to trace, a combe to discover, there is always something to trace for those who know where to go...

If you enjoy this activity, I also offer 3 days of freerando skiing in the Hautes-Alpes resorts. And if you want to improve your skiing skills, you can opt for a day of ski touring discovery or a snow and avalanche training course in Vars.

Program

• The program will depend on current conditions and your desires, the idea being to adapt and make the most beautiful ski lines of the moment, between powdery combes, secret mélézins and beautiful couloirs.
• Meet in the valley or directly at the resorts of Vars, Montgenèvre, Serre Chevalier and Puy-Saint-Vincent or in the Queyras massif.
• Coffee, safety briefing, equipment briefing and departure for the day's destination.
• 2, 3, 4, 5 runs... it all depends on your thighs and your desires!

The price includes

• Supervision by the mountain guide specialized in the region and freeride skiing and skitouring.
• Collective safety equipment: emergency radio, walkie-talkie, pharmacy, rope, harness if necessary.
• Transport on spots for 4 passengers.

The price does not include

• Transport to and from the meeting point.
• Lift tickets and guide's lift tickets.
• Picnic lunch.
• All drinks.
• Personal expenses.
