Description
Discover canyoning in the Dévoluy massif and explore the Rif Lauzon canyon near Veynes. This playful course is ideal for discovering the activity and learning to abseil.
You will find a number of beautiful, deep pools where you can jump, slide and zip-line. Available from May onwards, this is the perfect way to get started in this amazing geological environment!
The activity takes around 3 hours, and can be completed by people who have never done canyoning before. You must be at least 8 years old and be able to swim. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any medical problems.

Program
- Choice of morning or early afternoon departure, for a 3-hour activity.
- Meeting point: the village cemetery in Montmaur (05400), about 20 minutes' drive west of Gap and 10 minutes from Veynes.
- I propose to carpool with my 8-seater vehicle to the canyon parking lot.
- 15-minute approach walk.
- 2 to 2 and a half hours down the canyon.
- 15-minute return walk to parking lot.
The price includes
- Supervision by the canyoning instructor.
- Technical equipment: 5mm neoprene wetsuit, neoprene socks, harness with double lanyards, descender, helmet. But also suitable backpacks with watertight containers to carry your clothes and water bottles.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from the village of Montmaur.
- Swimming suit + towel.
- Sneakers or mountain boots (shoes in good condition that fit well).
- Snacks.
- At least 1 liter of water (plastic bottle) for 2 people.
- A lanyard if you wear glasses.
- An elastic band to tie back long hair.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
