Description
I invite you to discover the Amblard waterfalls canyon. Located in the Champsaur valley, close to the Orcières Merlette ski resort, this is a climbing course in a beautiful gorge. Wild and far from the summer crowds, there are many abseils down until the majestic last one in the 60-meter waterfall! The torrent descends directly from the Crupillouse lakes, a series of high-altitude lakes in the heart of the Ecrins National Park.
During this perfect itinerary for a first experience of a long canyoning outing, we will be progressing as a team during the day. All along the way, I will be looking to give you more autonomy in canyoning. This will be an opportunity to teach you how to practice this superb mountain activity.
The Amblard waterfalls canyon, as aesthetic as it is technical, awaits you for an unforgettable experience!

Program
- Departure in the morning at 9, for around 6 hours of activity.
- Meeting point: parking lot in the hamlet of "Les Borels", in the Champoléon valley, a 30-minute drive north of Gap and 10 minutes from the Orcières Merlette ski resort in the Champsaur valley.
- Approach walk of 45 minutes.
- 4 to 5 hours down the canyon.
- 20-minute return walk to the parking lot.
The price includes
- Supervision by the canyoning instructor.
- Technical equipment: 5mm neoprene wetsuit, neoprene socks, harness with double lanyards, descender, helmet. But also suitable backpacks with watertight containers to carry your clothes and water bottles.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from the Champoléon valley .
- Swimming suit + towel.
- Sneakers or mountain boots (shoes in good condition that fit well).
- Snacks.
- At least 1 liter of water (plastic bottle) for 2 people.
- A lanyard if you wear glasses.
- An elastic band to tie back long hair.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
