Ski mountaineering in Queyras or Ubaye (Hautes-Alpes)
Duration : 1 day
France, Southern Alps
Level : advanced
from 75 € / p. from 1 to 8 persons
Infos & BookingDescription
Throughout the winter, I offer ski touring and easy mountaineering outings in the Hautes-Alpes.
During these days in the Queyras, Ubaye or southern Écrins massifs, you will evolve on slopes or passages with inclines of up to 45 degrees, both on the way up and on the way down.
Good downhill skiing technique is a must.
We will also look at how to search for multiple victims using an avalanche beacon, how to organize a rescue, and/or how to map and orientate using Iphigénie or AlpineQuest apps on your smartphone.
To immerse yourself in the mountains a little more, I recommend this 3-day ski touring mini raid in the Queyras, Ubaye or southern Écrins.
You can also come and work on your downhill technique during a freeride ski session in Val Thorens, Savoie.
