Description
I propose you to leave for two days of snowshoeing at the gateway of the Beaufortain massif in Savoie.
This route that starts in the beautiful valley of Naves will make you reach the summit of Grand Crétet (2291 meters of altitude) then the Tufs Blancs pass and the nearby summit at 2423 meters. You will spend the night in the Nant du Beurre hut to enjoy an unforgettable experience and a real mountain atmosphere and immersion, in the heart of the Tarentaise valley.
Departures for this outing are on request throughout the winter and early spring: it is up to you to choose your dates!
For the more gourmet, I also offer snowshoeing and igloo fondue outings in Méribel all along the winter.

Program
D1: Snowshoe hike to the Nant du Beurre refuge.
This first day is an opportunity to hike up the magnificent, wide Naves valley on snowshoes. Perhaps we will take the time to make a detour to gain even more height and enjoy the incredible panorama on the surrounding peaks the surrounding peaks of the Lauzière and Bauges massifs to the east, the Vanoise National Park to the south and the Beaufortain and Mont-Blanc massifs to the north.
Overnight at the Nant du Beurre communal hut.
D2: Ascent of Grand Crétet and crossing of the Tufs Blancs pass.
After an evening and a night immersed in the mountains, we resume our snowshoe trekking to the summit of Grand Crétet at 2291 meters, before crossing over to the Col des Tufs Blancs and climb the nearby summit that overlooks it at 2423 meters.
We make the most of the beauty of the scenery and the views over the mountains that surround us, before descending back to the village of Naves and returning to the parking lot.

- Transport to and from Naves, about 30 minutes drive from Albertville.
- Half board accomodation at the hut (dinner and breakfast) and the picnics lunches.
