Night snowshoeing: tell me about the wolf (Vercors)

Description

Throughout the winter season, I will be taking you on night snowshoe hikes around Villard-de-Lans to tell you all about the presence of the wolf in the Vercors massif.

These outings are an opportunity to walk in the snow and look for signs of the canid's presence. You can also discover the forest in winter and at night, with its sounds, atmosphere, etc.

To train you, challenge you, discover the mountains or observe the local fauna, I also propose thematic outings such as:

• an orienteering challenge on the Vercors plateau,
• snowshoe outings around Villard-de-Lans to study the snow cover,
• snowshoesing across the Vercors massif,
• a weekend devoted to the deer bellow in the Vercors,
• and a wildlife observation hike in Villard-de-Lans.

Program

• Outings organized every Tuesday evening from December to the end of March.
• Meeting point in Villard-de-Lans.
• Departure for the night snowshoe hike between 5pm and 5.45pm depending on the period.
• Search for signs of wolf presence.
• Return in Villard-de-Lans between 7.30pm and 8pm

The price includes

• Supervision by the mountain leader.
• Loan of snowshoes and hiking poles.

The price does not include

• Transport to and from Villard-de-Lans, 45 minutes drive from Grenoble and one hour and fifteen minutes from Valence.
• Snacks.
• Drinks.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".

Accommodation

Possibility of lodging at "la Moraine".
