Multi pitch climbing on the Teide volcano (Tenerife)

Description

Do you want to climb on the planet Mars? Then the atmosphere and the environment of the Teide National Park will leave you with unforgettable memories.

I propose to guide you on one of the multi pitch routes of the National Park of Teide or the Rural Park of Anaga.  It will be an opportunity to go through an itinerary of 100 to 200 meters high, in an original environment and in the middle of breathtaking landscapes.

Do you dream of climbing summits or perhaps you just want to get a little higher? You don't have to be an expert to take part in the trip: there are multi pitch routes for beginners and experienced climbers alike.

Here are just a few of the routes we can climb together:

• La Directa Rusa (5+): This is one of the only fully bolted multi pitch route on Tenerife. Located in the Anaga Park, on the north face of Roque de Enmedio, this short but beautiful route is on very sticky, compact rock. Although it has recently been re-bolted, the points are far apart... so you will need a bit of headroom to climb it. This route is in the shade all day and close to the coast, making it perfect for hot days.
• La Catedral, normal route (4+): This easy 5-pitch route takes place in incredible surroundings. The descent is also part of the adventure, with de-escalation and two long abseils.
• Roques de Guillermo, Bazzocchi route (5c): A magnificent 5-pitch climb in 5c max on perfect rock. This adventure route resembles a small mountain outing.
• 7 Estrellas Verdes (6c+): This is probably Tenerife's most beautiful route! The itinerary evolves on compact rock that follows beautiful cracks in this face made of basaltic organs.

This multi pitch route is also an opportunity to discover Tenerife accompanied by a French climbing instructor (English speaking also). In the heart of the Canary archipelago, the "Island of Eternal Spring", which has a summer climate in the middle of winter, offers a singular quality of rock and extraordinary landscapes.

To go further in your practice of this activity, I also propose to improve your climbing skills in Tenerife or to initiate you to traditionnal climbing, still in Tenerife.
