Description
I invite you to take a break and recharge your batteries by combining snowshoe hiking and yoga in Saint-Agnan-en-Vercors, in the south of the massif and at the foot of the high plateaus of Vercors.
This long weekend will be an interlude in your daily life and a time to experience quiet contentment.
I will accompany you on snowshoe hikes. The landscapes of the Vercors in winter are of rare beauty. Each snowshoe itinerary in the snow-covered mountains invites us to experience joy, emotion and calm, to savor the silence and open up our curiosity. It's also an opportunity to experience mindful walking and observe animal tracks in the snow. Snowshoeing is not a prerequisite, but it's easy to learn!
Nathalie NGUYEN VAN, certified yoga teacher and FYA affiliate, trained by Ajit SARKAR, will guide you in yoga and meditation sessions. These will be offered in close connection with the hikes (preparing the body in the morning and restoring it in the evening). You'll discover the practice of yoga with mantra chanting, meditative walking in silence, readings, olfactory meditations, to develop your capacity for mindfulness.
I also offer throughout the winter and early spring :
- a snowshoeing holiday in the southern Vercors,
- a 3-day snowshoe weekend in the Vercors,
- a magnificent snowshoe traverse of the Vercors,
- an autonomous snowshoe raid on the Vercors high plateaus,
- and a winter multi-activity family holiday in the Vercors.
Program
- Nathalie and I will be happy to share snowshoe hikes and yoga sessions, our two practices that complement each other, in a simple and friendly way, to accompany you in this experience of harmonizing body and mind to welcome what is on offer.
- Our hosts will prepare delicious meals for you and will make your stay very pleasant thanks to the warm atmosphere.
- The course is open to all.
The price includes
- Supervision by the mountain leader.
- Yoga practice.
- Full board accommodation from D1 evening to D4 lunchtime.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from Saint-Agnan-en-Vercors, about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Valence and 2 hours from Grenoble.
- Rental of snowshoes and hiking poles if required (10€ for the course).
