Description
This year, the Diois Mountain leaders Association offers three days of adventure in the heart of the Vercors High Plateaus Conservation Area and on the most emblematic mountain of the Die: the mountain of Glandasse!
Roaming and autonomy are the key words of this journey in the south part of the Vercors massif. Total immersion made possible thanks to our friends with big ears: the donkeys. We will set up our camps in magical places for vigils under the stars. Surprise and conviviality animations will be there ...
Three routes are possible according to the levels and desires of each one, to finaly meet in the evening on a place of unique bivouac. This hike is accessible to families with children and can also satisfy experienced walkers. The route taken by the donkeysis suitable for people with reduced mobility in "joëlette".

Program
D1: The appointment is set at 8am in Châtillon-en-Diois (parking of the village hall below the village).
We meet around a coffee or tea and then a shuttle bus takes us to the plateau of Beure, above the Rousset pass. Up there, the rest of the team is waiting for you with the donkeys, ready to don a portion of your luggage to lighten you during the stay. This first stage starts with one of the easy gateways to the reserve. You climb gently through the pastures, leaving the last traces of civilization to immerse yourself in the heart of these grandiose and soothing landscapes. Not far from the GR93, a route almost all in ridges allows to dive regularly his eyes on the valley of the Drôme and its tributaries. The arrival at Jasse de la Ville, now in ruins, allows you to immerse yourself in a small bucolic valley where you will spend the night. Unobstructed view of Mont Aiguille!
D2: This second day takes you to the iconic Glandasse mountain. True balcony of Diois, one feels there already almost the Provençal atmosphere of the Drôme. After a short but intense climb, you walk on this ridge towards the south. The ascent of the Glandasse Dome will be a nice option for the more athletic ones. The panoramic view from which one can enjoy in clear weather makes it possible to better grasp the extent of this massif and its high limestone plateaus. The most experienced can take some secret trails, these famous more or less narrow ferries, often populated with chamois or ibex.
As if you were advancing towards the bow of a boat, you join the hut of Chatillon and our bivouac located at the southern end of the Glandasse. You will spend a friendly evening full of surprises.
D3: Finally, this last shorter day will be the opportunity to be carried one last time by these landscapes of dream before initiating a spectacular descent to the village of Châtillon-en-Diois. For the more adventurous, it will be possible to start this one by crossing the Pas des Clos, at the extreme south of the plateau. Meanwhile, the rest of the group will walk more leisurely on a pleasant and uncrowded path, allowing for its detours to stroll and make a more peaceful descent. Back to the cars in the late afternoon.

- Supervision by the mountain leaders.

- Transfer from Châtillon-en-Diois to the start of the hike (D1).
Adult rate: 250 to 285€ per person according to your possibilities.
Children's rate (up to 14 years old):
- 210€ for the first child.
- 190€ for the second child.
A referent adult is asked for 2 children maximum.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from Châtillon-en-Diois, one hour drive from Valence and 2 hours from Grenoble.
- Cancellation and repatriation insurance.
- Tent rental (if needed).
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
