Infos & BookingDescription
Ski touring comes in many forms, and everyone can find the one that suits his/her aspirations: the commercial terms refer to "freeride", "free rando", "ski mountaineering", etc.
The approach proposed here is far from categorizations and classifications of style! It adapts to all because it is lived mainly from the inside, it starts from tour feelings. And everyone, whether runner, epicurean, young or old is able to experience it. It's just a matter of sliding - both uphill and downhill - as a style exercise aimed at finding the right fit, the right balance. To have the consciousness of the movement that is born without effort when the consciousness is there, present with every gesture, movement and even breaths. By many small tips, these simple things, so simple that they seem useless, or that make you say "but it's stupid! Why I did not think about that before?", You will have the means to see another way of living your sport.
What are the advantages? Less fatigue, more pleasure, a calming mind, less stress, less injuries, better effort management, a shift from sport-stomping to sport-healing, a deeper connection and therefore more nourishing with the Earth.
What are the tools? The learning is based on the Caruso method, of which I am a teacher, on the conscious and Afghan walk of the Walking School, on the yoga that I practice, and on my own experience.
This outing takes place over two beautiful days in the Aravis massif in Haute-Savoie, with accommodation at the Gramusset refuge (half board).
It's also possible to introduce you to gentle, half-day ski touring in Haute-Savoie. Throughout the winter, I also offer very affordable outings, such as ski touring on Beauregard plateau or the Sulens mountain in the Aravis.
Program
