Climbing lesson: autonomy on cliff (Grenoble)

Description

You practice climbing indoors or outdoors, but you are not autonomous?

This half-day climbing session around Grenoble aims to show you the right gestures and to prepare you to climb outside in complete safety.

How to prepare yourself and manage your climbing equipment on site?
How to instal a rope for top rope climbing (management of the anchor)?
Lead climbing, management of quickdraws, etc.: these will be the topics discussed during this session.

This half-day course can take place on one of the many cliffs surrounding Grenoble:

• the Col du Coq in Chartreuse massif, offering magnificent views over the Grésivaudan valley and the Belledonne massif,
• Saint-Égrève, "Le Petit Désert" or "Le Désert de l'écureuil" in the immediate vicinity of Grenoble,
• Lans-en-Vercors on the Vercors plateau,
• and many others!

For beginners, I also offer a half-day introductory climbing course in Isère and a one-day discovery climbing course around Grenoble.

For those with more time on their hands, it's possible to take this initiation and autonomy course on the cliffs around Grenoble. And if you only climb indoors, I also offer a climbing course focusing on indoor autonomy in Grenoble.

Program

• The climbing session will take place on an outdoor cliff of (very) easy level, close to the Grenoble agglomeration.
• The course is 3 hours long.

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of equipment (harness, helmet, ropes, etc.).
