Program
D1: Welcome at Cagliari airport.
Then two hours of transfer to the first accommodation where we will stay 2 nights.
D2: Visit of the village of Ulassaî and hiking in the surroundings.
Today's menu offers a visit of an exceptional cave, a passage in the goladi San Giorgio and a visit of the Nurague of Serbissi, ruins of typical Sardinian neolithic habitats.
D3: Tortoli and Cala Luna.
Departure from the accommodation.
After a passage to the town of Tortoli, we take a picturesque road towards the surroundings of Dorgali for the following accommodation in the middle of nature.
On the way we hike in a limestone gorge leading to the wonderful beach of Cala Luna.
D4: Hike along the Flumineddu river which will lead us to the entrance of the very narrow Gorropu Canyon with 500 meters high sandstone walls, the most spectacular in Sardinia. On the way back, discovery of the tomb of the giants Jana Biduaï, an ancient tomb dug in the rock. Visit of the Ispinigoli cave, a giant 60 meters deep well sheltering a real forest of concretions.
D5: Discovery of the enchanting karstic valley of Lanaittu and the imposing limestone mountains of Supramonte which surround it.
It is in this natural and archaeological environment that a hike will take you to Tiscali, a most surprising Nuraghic site. It is possible to meet mouflons. Passing through Orgosolo, which owes its fame to the "murals", paintings that decorate the facades of the houses and shops of this town, which was in the past a landmark of banditry.
D6: Bosa and Cagliari.
We leave our accommodation after 4 nights to reach Cagliari by a crossing towards the west coast to discover the charming town of Bosa, one of the most beautiful localities of Sardinia. On the program is a mosaic of houses in pastel tones, tiered on the hillside and surmounted by an austere castle. At the foot, fishing boats glisten in the waters of the river Temo. You will have the pleasure of savouring the latest Sardinian perfumes and enjoying the seaside before your last evening in Cagliari.
