Caving in the Dent de Crolles: Glaz-Guiers crossing
Duration : 1 day
France, Northern Alps
Level : sporting, from 15 years old
from 135 € / p. from 1 to 6 persons
Infos & BookingDescription
Which hiker in the Chartreuse massif, close to Grenoble, hasn't walked past the trou du Glaz or the porch of the Guiers Mort? Probably no one.
But few of them, on the other hand, know that these two majestic entrances in the Dent de Crolles communicate through of two kilomètre of wells and galleries.
And this is precisely what this crossing, which has remained unknown for a long time, offers to discover. After a first technical part, including the splendid 36-meter shaft, we reach the "geological floor of the Guiers Mort" and its gigantic galleries.
Dare this grandiose underground expedition, which will delight thrill-seekers and lovers of breathtaking scenery.
I also offer other outings at similar levels: exploration of the Solitaire gallery and the Tritons boulevard, the trou du Glaz-Annette cave traverse and the P40-Glaz traverse. There are also more technical caving routes, such as the ultimate journey through the Collecteur or the tour of the Dent de Crolles caves, including an underground bivouac.
