Description

In the open air on the plateau of the Dent de Crolles in the Chartreuse massif, the entrance shaft to this crossing (called the P40), offers an unusual route through the rock.

Objective? To descend the P40 located at 1935 meters above sea level and follow the route to the trou du Glaz, about 300 meters below.

13 wells intersected by meanders allow this junction, first made in 1946.

Do you like abseiling? Crossing the mountain attracts you? Would you like an outing with lots of thrills? Then the P40-Glaz crossing with its 200 meters of vertical drop is for you.

I also offer other outings at similar levels: an exploration of the Solitaire gallery, the Glaz-Annette traverse and the Glaz-Guiers traverse. But also more technical caving routes, such as the discovery of the Collecteur or the tour of the Dent de Crolles caves.
