Infos & BookingDescription
The Collector is certainly the most aesthetic part of the Dent de Crolles network in the Chartreuse massif.
Approximately 1.5 kilometer long, the Collector offers a timeless and ultimate caving journey into the heart of the mountain, where all the rainwater and meltwater has been concentrated for millions of years to give birth to the Guiers Mort.
A long path made up of large galleries and wells is necessary to reach this mineral jewel and its basins of limpid water.
The realization of the 4 kilometers of route requires a very good physical condition. Indeed, it is also a sporting challenge that this outing offers with 10 to 12 hours of underground progression.
In short, you are in for a rare, demanding and sublime underground expedition!
I also offer other technical routes: a caving traverse from trou du Glaz to Annette cave, a traverse from trou du Glaz to Guiers Mort, a traverse from P40 to trou du Glaz and an amazing 2-day tour of the Dent de Crolles caves.
