Gorges du Llech canyon (Eastern Pyrenees)

Description

Located at the foot of the Canigou mountain in the Eastern Pyrenees, the Llech (pronounced "yèque") is one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe. Very intense and strong in sensations, it is designed for a well-informed sporting public. It takes place in an absolutely magnificent setting!

All along the canyoning descent, you alternate slides on superb and well-watered natural slides and abseiling under waterfalls, perched at a height of tens of meters. The course is varied, with moments of walking and swimming in the cool waters of the river.

Then you enter the sensations part, and you enjoy jumps from 4 to 9 meters high (not mandatory) to throw yourself in impressive basins, as well as 7 abseils from 5 to 17 meters, and slides from 2 to 12 meters long.

But I won't tell you more, to leave some surprises!

For more comfort and conviviality, the outing is done in small groups of 8 persons maximum.

Program

• Meeting point in Prades, about 40 minutes drive from Perpignan.
• Briefing.
• 30 minutes walk to the start of the canyon.
• Approximately 3 to 4 hours of descent, with learning of the safety techniques.
• 40 minutes walk back to the parking lot.

• Supervision by the canyoning instructor.
• The technical equipment necessary for the practice of the activity (neoprene suit, helmet, harness, belay device, etc.).
• Canyoning shoes.
