Description
This day on the Presles cliffs will enable you to discover or improve your skills in multi-pitch route climbing and to take away a memorable souvenir of this adventure.
You'll be able to climb and enjoy the scenery of the Vercors massif while learning belay techniques and how to progress on multi-pitch routes.
You'll learn how to :
- build a belay,
- abseil with self-belaying,
- manage double ropes and pulling,
- top rope climbing belay techniques.
This day can be adapted to suit your needs: you can climb and learn how to lead or simply climb top rope, with the instructor providing security.
Located in the western Vercors above the Bourne gorges, the Presles cliff is world-renowned as one of the world's great climbing spots. It has hundreds of routes, from 200 to 300 meters high, with a minimum grade of 5+/6a. We'll choose a route in one of the cliff's many sectors: Daladom, Fond du cirque, Fhara Kiri, Chrysanthèmes, Paroi Rouge, etc.

Program
- We will go climbing a route of 3 to 8 pitches according to your desires.
- We will climb roped together throughout the day, you will be able to enjoy and learn while climbing.
- We will be able to take the time to take pictures and appreciate the beauty of the cliffs of Presles which offers miles of climbing with a breathtaking view of the beauty of the Vercors massif. The place is part of the world's most famous cliffs!
The price includes
- Supervision by the climbing instructor.
- Loan of equipment required for the activity (harness, helmet, ropes, quickdraws, belay device, etc.).
- First aid kit.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from Presles, one hour drive from Grenoble or Valence.
- Drinks.
- Snacks.
- Picnic lunch.
- Shoes suitable for the outing.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
