Snowshoeing outing to study the snow cover (Vercors)
Duration : ½ day
France, Northern Alps
Level : all
from 35 € / p. from 3 to 8 persons
Infos & BookingDescription
During the winter season, I offer snowshoe outings in the Vercors massif to study the snow cover.
During these outings, we will evolve on snow, that is to say... solid water! The rapid changes of its composition make it a material whose stability is difficult to predict.
We will try, with tools and a simple method of observation, to discover some keys for a useful help in making decisions in situation. This will help you in all your snow practices and you will not look at the mountain like before.
During this snowshoe outing near Villard-de-Lans, the avalanche beacon, shovel and probe will be not be provided.
An observation of the signs of presence of the fauna will also be in the program.
To challenge yourself, discover the mountains or observe the local fauna, I also offer themed outings such as:
- night snowshoeing in Villard-de-Lans on the theme of the wolf,
- orienteering races in the Vercors massif,
